Don't assume anything.... don't assume other road users have seen you, let alone your trailer.
There are situations when your trailer is obscured - at junctions and busy roundabouts, by buildings or hedges, or simply when they are low and out of the eye line of other road users. These are the times when having a Safe T-Sign can let other drivers know that you are towing.
